Whether you want to replace the floor coverings in your rental property due to general wear and tear, damage caused by tenants or just to freshen it up, new floor coverings can make a dramatic aesthetic improvement and ultimately add value to your investment.
Rental Carpets - What do we recommend?
- Synthetic fibres- low cost, easy to clean, won't shed.
- Textured loop piles- will show less soiling than cut pile carpets and won't watermark.
- Mid to dark tones- will disguise soiling more than light coloured carpets and will look better longer.

Hard flooring for rental properties - what do we recommend?
- sheet vinyl flooring- low cost, quiet, hard wearing, easy to clean, can be wet mopped.
- vinyl planks- same properties as the above but easier to lift and replace damaged planks if needed. New 5mm thick LVTs are more forgiving than conventional 2 or 3mm vinyl products and may reduce the amount of floor preparation required.
- laminate flooring- hard wearing & looks great. Not suitable for wet mopping (except for the new Quickstep Impressive Ultra water proof laminate range).
